Committee Reports:
Grants, Finance, Plan Review and Information Coordinator: No reports.
Training:
Vince Davis is the new Chair.
Vince plans to look into LEPC training needs.
Exercise: Most
exercises that are planned are WMD.
LCLEPC can not receive credit for WMD exercises. BP will be having a training drill this
year.
Compliance: Reporting problems and revenue were discussed.
New Business:
Ø Need a new contract employee or an update.
Ø TMAA update from new Chair, Chris Herman (BP).
Ø New member application received from Chief George France.
Ø E-mail notification sooner.
Ø Discussion of possible training opportunities.
Ø Discussion of liability of experts, chemists, etc., that are called to assist on a hazmat spill.
