The January 21, 1999 meeting minutes were approved as submitted.
Introductions: Douglas Ott and Michael Wells from the Center for HazMat Education at Cleveland State University made a presentation on their training programs for public and private emergency responders.

Committee Reports
The following people have volunteered to serve on the Plan Review Committee: Stacy Schmidt, Richard Monto, Randy Rall, Grant Dalton and Leigh Casey.
HazMat Awareness training for Law Enforcement will be scheduled for late spring/summer at the Toledo Police Academy and at C.J. Tech. on a quarterly basis. A four-hour Awareness refresher training course is scheduled for all Lucas County medics. Approximately 200 participants are expected.
Phil Wesley reported that the March 25/26, 1999 and March 27/28, 1999 Weapons of Mass Destruction courses are full. Another course will be held in September for 600 students.
The TMAA will hold a functional spill exercise on June 15, 1999. Evaluators for this exercise are needed.
